soaring

This morning I had a call with a dear friend that I haven't seen for 25 years. We exchange Christmas cards, so keep up with each other in a general way. I called her to tell her I would be in her town in a few weeks, and asked if she had time to see me. Well, it was as if no time had passed between us, and we picked up right where we left off so long ago! I look forward to our face to face time soon.
Then right after that, I had a message from a blip friend (that I have yet to meet) about a surprise coming in the mail!
My soul is soaring, right along with this magpie!
