One deer, two deer.....
....three deer. The mother was hidden below the bank of thistles. The smallest was barely visible, under the berry bush. It’s lovely how they blended into the vegetation. We were downwind on a breezy afternoon; when the one in plain sight spotted us a “warning” was given and they promptly and gracefully moved further into the trees. The berries are a big attraction - I guess they returned after we walked off.
A bit flat today - being oot n aboot was important and good for me.
