Toulouse Life #3

A French Sunday.

The recipe:-
- lots of strong black coffee during a lazy morning, soaked up by fresh croissants from the local bakery (food miles - 200 metres);
- some shopping for lunch at the local market;
- a gentle stroll through the old parts of the city centre, taking advantage of the quietness of a Sunday;
- picnic lunch by the river (local grapes, peaches, plums and goat cheese)
- back to the apartment to relax a bit;
- dinner in the city centre - totally delicious and served by a charming local waitress who speaks English with a Scottish accent:
- back to the pub for a beer and some live music;
- lurch back to the apartment for midnight.
