Wot No Dog?

As promised a non Oscar blip! We took a walk under the trees at Cotehele today due to the dismal weather. Can't say Oscar was too impressed with this turn of the weather - well he is from the Massif Central where there is lots of sunshine still and in the winter lots of snow. Poor pup  will probably see little of snow down here but plenty of rain. He walked with me ok but did whimper now and again in dismay at the wet stuff! He liked being in this little chapel and wasn't keen to leave it! Hopefully when his outer coat grows he won't be bothered by the rain so much!
I did a google search for games when we got home and discovered the muffin tin game! Hide treats under the tennis balls! Well it certainly kept Oscar entertained! He seems unable to bite the tennis balls with his sharp little teeth so has to use his nose and paw to move the tin and dislodge the tennis balls! 
Come the evening I took him for another walk in the dark and luckily in the dry this time. Watched Killing Eve, just so good!  Then more muffin tin play and a bit of tug with his rope before  bed - thankfully he settled quicker tonight - result! I was told Berger Picards sleep 17 hours a day - Oscar doesn't seem to know this! 
Cats are still holed up in the attic together. At least one of them is coming down to eat - probably Milkshake as she does love her food! Oscar is getting better at being left downstairs whilst I go up to see them and give them some affection - not as much as either of them are used to. They will either have to brave the dog or go feral! It will be interesting to see what happens when The Exile comes back - will he sleep with her or come upstairs with me? I know which the cats would prefer! I'm thinking he may have to sleep in his crate if he choses me as there are far too many clothes for him to ruin!
