Hoverfly

Lovely lazy day today.  My Mum's 'bath lady' came at 8:30 this morning - said hello to her, then took my cup of tea back to bed!  After that, Mum and I had a really easy morning - and afternoon - and evening.  Very rainy this morning, but it brightened up beautifully by this afternoon, so I popped out into the garden (with my new-old Helios lens on my camera) and took lots of photos of various trees, plants and this little hoverfly.

Cooked up a load of roast veg for dinner, which went down nicely with a large glass of wine.  Not too much else to tell from today - just a nice quiet one!
