Spiny Flitter

Not my boy today. O_O I didn't get to walk with him to daycare, as he had his last orientation day at school. I did get to walk him home, and took a photo for completeness' sake...

Before leaving in the morning though, I saw a flitting as of little birdies in the jacaranda. I popped outside with my camera expecting an Easten Spinebill or few - and I was not disappointed. 8) It was pretty hard to find a photographable one though; they're so quick, and there's so much foliage around. I am, however, super-happy with this. ^_^
