Apple cake.

Hubby was busy yesterday. He finds baking relaxing. But I sometimes have to keep my distance from the kitchen as I like to clear up as I go along and he does not......so there is stuff everywhere that I itch to tidy up!
     However, I cannot complain as he makes a mean apple cake. 
Anyone like a piece?
It is mouthwatering and made from apples off our tree. 
I've been very tired today, so a brief blip comment. I guess it's a reaction from the week. 
    He also informs me from his looking at the weather on his phone, that we are going to have an "Indian summer" this coming week.
