Urdaibai (Holiday 13/14)

"This road looks familiar"

"Maybe we drive down it in March?"

"Yeah, I think we probably did..."

"Hey, that's Urdaibai!"

In March (visiting in our hire car on a long weekend in Bilbao) the visitor centre was closed, and the birds not exactly numerous; today the visitor centre was truly excellent, and there were Spoonbills (see extra) and Marsh Harriers and Little and Cattle Egrets. If only we'd had more time! But we were ferry bound.
