School Spirit

Saturday, we did morning chores....why are there always so many chores???? ack....such is life. 

In the afternoon, we headed into town so that Sugar could participate in a local event.  She rode on a float representing her school.  She is in a Leadership class, and participating in such events is encouraged.  Sugar does enjoy such things, though, so it is a good fit.  It was fun to see her ride by in the float.  

After the parade, we wandered the festival with my SIL, cousins S and K,  and her friend K.  It was a lovely afternoon!  Many giggles, and smiles.  It was good that both Sugar and I were feeling so much better.
