One Hundred Blips

One day I decided to start a photo journal
Never knowing where it would take me or
Everything I would see along the way 

How could I possibly do it for 100 days!
Understandably, 365 days seemed like an impossible task
Now, as I look back, I'm so glad I took the plunge
Daring to show my limited photo skills to strangers
Realising that Blipfoto is so much more than a picture
Encouraging and enthusiastic people greeting you at every Blip
Don't ever doubt you can't do something

Because unless you start you will never know
Life can get in the way some days but I've never missed a Blip
If I do, it's not the end of the world
Proof that the perfectionist in me is releasing the reins
Slowly

PS. I asked the lady in the coffee shop if she could write 100 in the coffee froth instead of the usual petal. She said she really didn't think she could but would try and give it a go for me. Sometimes it really is just about giving something your best effort - whether it's a perfect 100 or not, I was just thrilled she tried.
