Fashionable?

I am assured that using pallets and cushions as sunloungers is all the rage.  Having liberated a half dozen pallets from roadside disposal points on verges and in ditches it transpired they were not suitable for various reasons, so had to be rendered down for kindling for neighbours to save the planet (we use twigs of dead elm and ash, but neighbours incline to neat little nets of split soft wood - probably flown in from China, or trucked in from a neighbouring county).  These two have got the provisional thumbs up: but will they still be fashionable next summer?

P.S. One pallet was made of recycled oak!
P.P.S. Another one was made of waney edged wood full of insect borings, so wondering from what part of the world these pallets/insects came from and whether incoming pallets are ever inspected for aggressive alien tree pests.  Surely they are:  but then there is no evidence that they are.
