Classy

My Dear Fellows & Dear Princess,

Today we went to see A Simple Favour with IRD Linda. We really liked it. According to Cazza, "Blake Lively's outfits are amazing".

I'm sure you appreciate how important that was to me. I am a VERY stylish fellow in my "I Fling Poo" t-shirt, as well you know.

Anna Kendrick is the other star and she does that thing where she is embarrassing and cringey but we didn't mind too much because she also gets to be spunky and clever.

The thing is, the story was good and a lot of the jokes were actually funny. Although that's the confusing thing about the film. Technically it's a thriller. But although it does have a mystery/thriller plot, it's really mainly a comedy.

Princess, I was thinking this could be one for you and the Mini-Princesses. There are a couple of "adult situation" scenes in it, true. But the three of you will be in the dark and your daughters can pretend you're not there for those bits.

Unless you make a point of nudging them and saying, "I'm still HERE by the way, while those people are making looooooooove." That wouldn't be at all funny. Don't do that. (Wink).

Mad Dog - I can see you liking this film as well. It has a very cool soundtrack of songs sung by French people. I have no idea what they were singing but it SOUNDED cool. And that is the main thing. It wouldn't have worked in another language. Say Welsh for example.

But most importantly, we were booked into the Gold Class because we are all very classy people. This means a Nice Man brought me an apple martini and I got to sit in a recliner.

I do love going to the pictures. I am reliably informed by Cazza that soon I will be taking her to see "A Star Is Born" and "Bohemian Rhapsody". That's fine with me. So long as I get another apple martini,

And now I am tired. Getting out of pyjamas is all very well and good, but pyjamas are my natural habitat. Ahhhh... that's better.

S.

p.s. On our way home from the cinema we saw a little seal. He was so cute. See extra.
