University of Bristol
I got up at 7am with the intention of going out for a run straight away. I faffed about for ages and it was 8.20am by the tine I left the house. I nearly didn’t go but glad that I did. I picked up a loaf of bread at Cavan bakery on the way back for Bibi to take with her to university.
After breakfast, we filled the car with her stuff and we eventually left for Bristol at 11am. It rained all the way. The traffic was pretty heavy around Bristol and it took us an hour extra to get there. Jack was waiting for us outside the car park. He was soaked. Her check-in tine was 3pm so we walked down the road to find somewhere to eat. We found somewhere by the river called ‘Three Brothers Burgers’. We then went to check her in. She’s got a room in a flat on the first floor which has 5 students in total. It didn’t take us long to move everything from the car. Once that had been done, Jack went back to Bath. We all helped Bibi empty all the boxes and bags and then we went out looking for a supermarket to buy some food for her. On the way out, we bumped into Debbie and Jake (who also lives in the same place).
It was 6 o’clock by the tine we left. I was a bit worried at first if leaving her there on her own as she hadn’t met anyone else living in the flat but then she met two of them just before we left. We decided to stop in IKEA on the way back. It was heaving and they didn’t have what we had gone in for.
We arrived home around 8.45pm and we watched the end of ‘Solo’.
