Faded Hydrangea

My neighbor's hydrangeas have entertained us all summer long and well into Autumn.

One or two of the blossoms remain of the hundred or so that festooned his side garden.

My blip today is the last best blossom of the season.

I bow to its persisting , though fading, beauty.
