Oregano

Planted a couple of years ago, it's one of my favourite herbs and now grows wild and rampant in our garden, but I had never noticed the flowers until today.

Noticing how often I take close-ups but want more than my telephoto can do, macro lens is definitely next on the wish list!

Sorry I haven't been commenting much lately. I've got two big concerts in the next two weeks and then a whole lot of Christmas gigs after that, so when I'm not out rehearsing I'm preparing scores, chasing musicians and instruments, putting out "grass fires" etc. Those of you who are in entertainment or the performing arts will know exactly what I'm talking about.
