Silly mistake!

Well not really a mistake, but a wet Saturday is not the best day to go to The Mall!

I had my flu jab this morning and we arrived early as the booking is system has been down for ages.  There were loads of people waiting for jabs and it was a bit stressful as they only had one minute allocated per patient and there were increasingly annoyed calls for people to take their coats off and have their arm exposed (not possible for most people)! I was very pleased to be called early, because they had decided to get rid of the people who had been waiting a while.  We thought we had missed our bus by two minutes but when I looked out there were still people waiting - not often you are pleased that a bus is late!

We had a bit of lunch and then went to Apple to look at the new watches, as the slips, trips and falls feature which will automatically dial 999 after a minute. After wanting to see it before ordering Mr T then hardly seemed to want to look at it!  And then he complained that it was a few weeks for delivery as we didn't pre-order because he didn't want to!  Sharp intake of breath and breathe!!!!

Then we popped into the Gromit store to buy a children's "I completed the Gromit Trail" to put in the frame with our picture.  Gromit had his eyes on our cakes and so had to be restrained!  He did like the lady behind the counter funky hairstyle.  Spotting the lion on the rower it seems Gromit isn't the only one with a silly streak.

By now The Mall was heaving as it had rained all day so we were very glad to get on the bus and escape.

My shoulder tape was coming adrift and so we got some kinesiology tape and performed some running repairs!
