Karate

We spent a very long day yesterday, getting up at 4.50am to catch the team bus down to the capital for a karate championship, then going out on the town with everyone and back home at 1am. The championship was a good experience and I enjoyed talking to other mums. It's lovely that there are 11 girls in the club now. The funniest moment was when I was asked to present medals at the ceremony!! I had such a hard time not getting the giggles. Very sadly Little J didn't get to take part because just before his turn the boys fight descended into a mass brawl with 2 thirds of the hall involved, meaning the whole thing got prematurely ended :(
