It's expensive to commute in Switzerland, but periodically we have specials going on on all day tickets.  For one entire day, you can travel in Switzerland (bus, train, tram and ferries included) for anywhere from 37.50 to 49.00 CHF.  That is a steal.

A friend of mine and I decided to take advantage of such offer and we went to Zermatt together.  The weather was perfect although as you can see here there was this cloud that simply would not move out of the Matterhorn view.  We sat here for a while hoping that it would go away but that was not the case.  As we waited, we enjoyed watching the tourists and their way of posing for a picture.  I could watch them forever!

All in all, it was a fantastic day and we asked ourselves why we have not done that sooner!!!!!!
