Cloudy afternoon

After a visit to the supermarket in the morning we had an at home day in the afternoon. It became quite cloudy in the late afternoon though still very warm. Typical thunderstorm weather though the thunderstorm did not materialise.

There is the wedding of the children of two enormously wealthy India families in a nearby villa. The wedding festival is over at least three days and started today. The father of the bride is worth 20bn according to the local paper. Massive security, lots of "gorillas", and a huge traffic jam. Tomorrow the festivity transfers to the Villa Olmo near Como.

Presumably the wedding is costing millions. A firework display could be heard at about 11:30 pm. The explosions were incredible, even though we are some distance away from the villa.
