... A Day of Contrasts

I had a wonderful day out with blipper, Flying. We visited the city to catch up the earthquake rebuild and also Halswell Quarry to see the Cherry Blossom trees in the Japanese garden.They were just past their best but still looking lovely.

 It was wonderrful to see a Monarch Butterfly and lots of bees enjoying blossoms too.

Apart from a cool wind at times, it was such a lovely day... with lots of blue sky and sunshine and great company. Thank you Flying for a wonderful day.
