We made it!

Their mom comes home tomorrow. We've had a great time. 

Today after school, they improvised a completely different scenario: she was a "toy scientist," inventing new toys; and he was the owner of a toy store, deciding which of her inventions would work for his customers. There was no conflict this time, as he thought all her inventions were winners.
