Long day to end a long week. We would never have made it without the Granny team. 

As we settle into new patterns, Bobs and I had the day off for her hearing tests at the hospital. A welcome day off school but complicated by needing to be out of the house for 9 hours with her exhausted in the rain and wind. Exhausted every option I could think of, including a visit to the shoe shop. In desperation, ended up in the cinema trying to watch an unwatchable film, intensified by it being 3-d. Quit after an hour when she'd steadily munched through the bag of popcorn and started asking unanswerable questions. 

In happy news, we have half a kitchen and electricity, washing machine and oven back in use. Whoop! One more week and I won't be washing up in the bath anymore!
