The Hebridean Isles in Campbeltown Loch, 7.15am

12.4C with bright sunny spells and showers. Wind WSW/W/WNW to 25 mph with gusts to 44 mph.

On our last walk last night we noticed there was a ferry at the new quay, so this morning Fergus and I went round to the harbour to have a look. We went out to the end of the old quay to get a good vantage point which allowed me to get both the MV Hebridean Isles and the anchored cruise ship Seabourn Ovation in shot.

Seabourn Ovation. 210m (690ft) length. 40350 tons. Maiden voyage 2018. 600 passengers.

Fergus and I went for our walk after lunch. We went round to the harbour then carried on along the park and Kilkerran road to Glenramskill House. Passengers were going and to and fro from the cruise ship in tenders, landing at one of the marina pontoons.

We came back the same way then along the street side of the park and came home through town passing the town hall and the bookshop (open).
