Lily on Peace Day

I thought my lilies had done their thing for this year, it’s been several weeks since there was an array of bloomage; but this morning, I left home so early it was still dark, and the pure white of a fresh new flower caught my eye. Apt that it should appear today on International Peace Day.

The winds are still extremely high here, getting slightly more scary. I had wanted to take a wander to the prom after work but no sooner has the sun emerged, it is again hidden behind clouds and buckets of rain......and I have a cupboard under the stairs that is in desperate need of attention. So I shall play it safe and stay dry.
