The Bamboo Bike

Attended  a very interesting talk given by Kate Rawles who cycled 8000 miles down South America on a bike she had made out of bamboo. She is passionate about conservation and biodiversity, travelled to South America from the UK on a cargo ship to keep her carbon footprint to a minimum and went vegetarian for the entire trip. She visited some really interesting conservation projects and environmental campaigners along the way down the continent and took masses of photograghs.
