Purslane Plant

We bought this wee plant at the local nursery and didn't think it was anything special. We originally saw it and decided it was a curious succulent that we didn't already have. It was late in the afternoon and it had a couple of places where it looked like it might bud. The next day all of these beautiful flowers bloomed and we discovered later that they open when the sun hits them and close when it starts to get later in the afternoon.

It is a delight to have found!
