These sculptures of 'anonymous pedestrians' on one of Wroclaw's main thoroughfares symbolise the functional nature of citizens moving along a pavement, unnoticed.

I felt like I was sinking similarly into the ground with fatigue from a heavy week of touristing, exacerbated by a hangover. After a slow start we managed a walk around the city and a boat trip on the Oder, punctuated with some dozing in parks. It was a drowsy end to a fun week. Central Europe is brilliant.
