Filled with Asters & Hungry Bees
The front border is filled with clouds of blooming New England asters. They have re-seeded themselves freely this year. and the honey bees are going nuts.
Yesterday a large swarm of honey bees was seen along the highway by lots of drivers while people wearing white beekeeping suits tried to catch them. They were landing in the cluster of sumac bushes.
Delightful how Nature is set up for the equinox tomorrow.
The temperatures have arrived at perfection.
This will be the greatest number of bees I have seen all summer.
