Spiritual Contemplation?

During a break from photographing celebrities, film goers and government officials, I had a wee stroll through the historic centre, which is dominated by Morelia Cathedral and inside which, this was taken.

Very tempted to put one of my better photos of her here today, but I just love this scene.

Reminds me of the malingerers you'd always spot down the back of the church, when I was a kid. Just itching to get their duty done and then off to the pub. Though, it doesn't look like this guy was in a rush to go anywhere. Just taking a break from heat outside, probably.

After this I was back out snapping. Red carpet for the awards ceremony and then the award winners and then, finally, the end-of-festival party thrown by Dos Equis. Took me well into the early, early, early hours of the morning.

A great, if exhausting day. And, in no small part, it's a result of being part of Blipfoto and how my photography keeps improving because of it. Especially, seeing so much other compelling work on here.
