AbstractThursday - Liquid (rain)

Golly, did it rain today and we had a treacherous journey though some flooded roads to see our friends in Stone.  Very glad Mr T was driving and it was good to see D&K, the friends we went to Devon with a few weeks' ago, as the two of them have just gone through some serious surgery, one planned and one not.  K had a detached retina just after we came back from Devon which was a bit slow to be diagnosed, but trusty Specsavers saw it straight away and an emergency op in Liverpool late on a Saturday night saved K's sight.  She's still having to take it easy but is improving daily.  

We came home in slightly less perilous conditions and armed with some wonderful garden produce;  sweetcorn, beetroot, tomatoes, chillis, cucumbers and a pot of K's homemade tomato sauce.
