Storm Ali Passes

A wild morning of gales and rain.  It started to ease this afternoon, and sunny for a while.  More cloud this evening, but fairly calm.

Day off and a lazy start with the poor morning.  I managed to get out with Sammy after breakfast, and it stayed dry, but poured down after.  Met up with mam and friend Viveka for lunch.  Viveka announced she's moving to Shetland in October :)  I've managed to get out with Sammy a few more times, but mostly a settled evening by the fire. 

Storm Ali seemed to hover over us for a good while, but thankfully he finally moved on.  After lunch, I headed to the beach for a walk, but still fairly breezy on the clifftops.  Looking over St Ninians tombolo, taken from the isle.
