Waikato River

Drove back to Auckland to stay with M for a few days while she recovers from an operation. It’s only a week since I travelled this road but the scene is changed quite dramatically as the trees break out in their new spring leaves.A brief stop beside the Waikato River which is 425 km’s long and is New Zealand’s longest river.
