You have to laugh

Or you’d have to cry.

I saw a recent article in the paper saying that a poll had shown that 52% of the British population (a number that feels significant somehow) believed that the moon landings were faked; a belief so spectacularly moronic that I think only thinking that the earth is flat could beat it as an indicator that someone is beyond help. Incidentally, the flat earth society recently tweeted their delight that support for their logic and fact defying nonsense is growing “all around the globe”. Priceless!!!

I kind of expect stuff like that from America, but day after day the evidence mounts that the human race, particularly but not limited to this cold island, will thoroughly deserve the inevitable extinction this kind of reverse evolution is leading us to.
