Here's Looking at you ....

We went up to Jacobsburg State Park this afternoon as it was a gorgeous day.  Sadly, we didn't see any hummingbirds even though the feeder was still up. 

We did see other things .... such as frogs, butterflies and birds.

But as we were walking out from the frog pond area R spotted this incredible Praying Mantis!  Of course, we definitely needed to stop and take lots of pictures!  I liked this picture the best as I love the way he/she is looking straight at me .... striking a pose!  

Other than a slight crop this is SOOC. This praying mantis is quite large .... probably at least 4 inches long.
