Fungus the Bogeyman?

This afternoon I looked out our bedroom window to see something which was certainly not there this morning. Its amazing to think that the vast bulk of the fungus is busy burrowing away under our grass and only sticks its head up to spread its spores to the winds.
Speaking of wind (and rain), we got a soaking this afternoon along the canal tow-path. Absolutely no cover whatsoever! Totally drookit, rain blowing right through my trousers then running down into my socks and boots! Not comfortable.
However, home, changed, fed, laptop turned on and here we are.
This morning, before our soggy adventures, we took Euan (and Ali) to the park where he had fun on the slide.
