Storyteller

USA Today has sponsored, again, their Storytellers Project, a 22 (I think) city tour of storytelling across America. When I saw that one of their West Coast stops is Salem, I applied to be a storyteller. I kind of forgot about it, then I was contacted, and they said, yes, we would love to hear your story. Whoa.

Today, I had my second coaching conference call with the organizers. I told my story aided with notes I won’t be using when I tell the story for real next month. All of the “coaches” thought it was a compelling story with humor, sadness, and the awkwardness of growing up.

Time to work on getting it down right.
