Storm Ali blows through

Tonight there is calm. But all day we have had storm Ali barrelling through Scotland.

And our little bird feeder was tossed and turned , often with birds attached to it feeding.

New this year are nuthatches. Until a few years ago they were unknown in this part of Scotland. It is thought this could be the result of climate change and they are moving up from England.

They are characterised by feeding upside down.

On a personal front its been a day devoted to exercise in the house and pain management, relieved by visits from friends which are much appreciated.
