LNER v. Storm Ali

It’s mayhem at Kings Cross with huge queues, cancelled and delayed trains.

Just jumped on the first train heading north. Apparently it’s going to Newcastle which means at some point I’ll need to jump ship!

Heavens knows what time I’ll be home!

UPDATE: The Newcastle LNER electric train stopped at Doncaster due to power lines being down and everyone had to get off. A replacement diesel was provided but I had any anytime ticket so I jumped on the Grand Central and got a taxi on the final leg home.
