I wish this was a better pic, but oh well!

Another day at sea, but it passed quickly - wrapped up and spent hours outside with binoculars looking for wildlife. Rewarded with sightings of Fin, Humpback and Minke whales.

A farewell dinner and to my surprise I won first prize in the charity raffle - an illustrated map of the trip by Gerard Baker.

A modern ‘renaissance’ man, Gerard is a chef, beekeeper, Antarctic over-winterer, writer, zodiac driver, BBC radio presenter and documentary maker with an unfeasibly long beard!
