Now and again...

... I do a Then&Now comparison blip in Harrogate.

It is only 3 days since my last comparison blip but, most of today, I have been working on these images for a 2019 Calendar on behalf of the library.This contains the first photo I took this morning.

It shows the very grand Mount Arthur House being converted into shops in April 1932.

I went along thinking this would be a relatively easy comparison but didn't bargain for the tree on the roundabout (which is roughly where the original photo had been taken from). If I stood there the tree would cover a substantial part of the picture. So the angle is slightly off.
