Rapid duck

I dealt with the final two marrows this morning, grating and squeezing them in preparation for another marrow bake tonight.  I also used some for a marrow, kale and cheese soup experiment which turned out well.  I didn't overpower the soup with too much kale.  I avoided walking through the fields this afternoon as the wind was unpleasant so went into the nature reserve and tried to get photos of ducks in flight.  As the ducks are wild, they take flight at the slightest sound but I managed to get this one and quite liked the sense of speed.
