Chilling

Honestly I leave my camera sitting on the table for 5 minutes and eldest daughter starts snapping pictures the minute my back is turned. I know she likes this wee camera and would probably like to own it but its MINE all mine!!!!
Finally got home, lots of flooding on the road but at least the Rest & Be Thankless was open! I see trouble ahead here if this wet weather continues. Its starting to blow a gale here so I take it the wind has turned to the south again.
My secondary contemporaries in Glasgow were always amazed at my fascination with wind direction but as an islander your life is controlled by the behaviour of the weather. Rain ment sitting indoors with your toes toasting in the oven of the Rayburn. Dry meant having to go out an hump peats, muck the byre, feed the stock. Ah the good old days!
