Signs of Autumn

Pyracantha (and very prickly indeed!) showing its berries in a corner of the garden. For me, the berries show the bush defying its summer enemy - the bindweed! Fortunately bindweed is beginning to die off now, but there is still plenty to pull off - with gloves on!
Some friends from Nottingham came to look at JF's cars this morning, which was fun. I spent the afternoon doing WI stuff - setting out and checking the programme for 2019, and writing my report for the parish magazine!
