Look who turned up on the dishcloth and narrowly escaped the suds. It is a brand new dishcloth; I could not have shared the awful thing we were using until yesterday. Poor wee ladybirds, they are settling into hibernation but I unwittingly disturb them while working in the garden. I found three sleepy ones on my sock the other day. This one is now safely back among the honeysuckle.
I planted out hydrangea and buddleja cuttings and some lupins I'd grown from seed. It is always nice to feel part of creating something - though the plants do most of the work.
Lovely evening with understanding and simpatico friends.
