Evening Primrose Flower

These flowers in the garden certainly brighten things up.  They are quite prolific and produce numerous flowers but they only usually last for one day.
Also I found a ladybird (see extra photo) settled on an empty bird feeder. There was nothing for it to eat so it soon flew off in search of greenflies but it went in the wrong direction - should have gone for the roses!!
