Moon again
This time with the weathervane turned just-so to catch the sun. Presumably it is meant to represent Alexander I on his ship, just before he was storm-bound on Inchcolm with the hermit and his cow. King A subsequently promised to build the Abbey, probably very much to the hermit's annoyance! What the cow thought is not recorded, either.
The weathervane was installed during the restoration of the warming-room roof, in the mid-1930s
