Red Shank

After a morning with U3A Camera Group looking a images and lunch with some of them. I felt like a walk so went down to Hayle along the King George the 5th Walk, it has an estuary running along side of it that is owned by the RSPB. I took my 100-400 lens with me, did not think I would get much because the tide was well out. When I got to the end near the little bridge, I was looking up the estuary, an a Red Shank flew in quit close. I had to be quick as he did not hang around.
