Calendar 2013

To say I'm delighted with my Blipfoto calendars is an understatement.
Blipcentral and the printers went beyond the call of duty to point out errors and change things before delivering speedily. Eat your heart out VistaPrint and PhotoBox!

What is it about the average man that so defeats them in the art of shopping?

Because we had run out of cleaning agents and floor cloths in particular, and the tiny local supermarket caters mainly for students who probably wouldn't consider washing floors a priority, we drove to the nearest big supermarket.

I was rather pleased thinking that I would be able to wander the aisles and see comestibles which I don't get locally. My euphoria was nipped in the bud when His Lordship had a wobbly before even entering the store and telling me how he hated shopping with me.
My suggestion that he stay in the car was almost acted upon, but he gritted his teeth and we went in together.

Thereafter any notion of free rein on my part was not an option.
You want floor cloths? Got them
You want furniture polish? Got it.
You want kitchen cloths? Got them.
Right then, is that everything?
Well I might like to get some cream: I might like to get some vegetables: I might like to saunter past the cheese counter.........I might like to.......... Forget it, I'll come by myself another day when I see the man in my life is dragging the trolley behind me with his eyes firmly fixed on the check out.

I suppose we saved a lot of money doing it his way.
