Another winter choir begins . . .

The middle of September is always the start of rehearsals for the Christmas concert in the cathedral.  I like the way the year is punctuated by fixed events.  You know what is coming, it is the rhythm of the year.  The start of the countdown to Christmas . . . . but in a nice gentle way.
