Speech Therapy.

Nearly six years since i was doing a first of these for DD. She developed a terrible stutter. It rendered her mute at one point. She still stutters if very stressed but Lidcombe therapy worked a treat.

DS1 does not stutter but struggles with some sounds. School has referred him as they think it might be impeding his reading.

I think what might be impeding his reading is the fact that do not have a structured phonic scheme in place. However, thats a whole other story.

To be fair he has come on with reading leaps and bounds since earlier in the year. Furthermore signs so far are leading me to believe by some fluke of genetics that he is not dyslexic.
